Rev. Dr. Stephen Starke, is a contributor to more than 30 hymns in the Lutheran Service Book and author or contributor to more than 200 hymns, including beloved favorites such as The Tree of Life and We Praise You and Acknowledge You. Where Praises Never End highlights his work, as he narrates the themes and theology between hymns.

We give thanks and praise to God for the gift of sacred music and the opportunity to gather in worship and song; for the beauty of hymns that teach, comfort, and proclaim His truth, and for the blessing of joining voices in one shared confession of faith. It is a joy to come together as one people, united in Christ, and strengthened through the gifts He freely gives.
